Not Much

Hey so sorry i havn't posted in a while i have been busy with my last year of highschool.

not much has happened to e since i last posted just normal crap, except one thing; i found out that i can probably never go see my dad in china again unless i pay for my self. His company have decided to be total arseholes and stop paying for 'family' trpis because he is now technically a chinese employee not an Australian one and they think he has no tyes to Australia - except his i don't know Family. ahhhh well i just don't understand...

Well i got to go it is my sisters birthday so bye talk later.

Book

My sister and i as i think i have mentioned in a earlier blog have written two childrens picture books, and have finally decided to go about publishing them. We have contacted a few people and we will just have to wait and see if anything happens, but i will say that i am kind of excited.

Unemployment

I have just had the wost day i have had in a while, i was just informed by my manager that the owner of the Gloria Jeans Coffee store i work in is selling and all the current employees himself included are now unemployed and once again jobless.

This came as a great blow and i am sad to say i cried, since i have worked their for nearly two years. So on monday i will be jobless and there is a great possibility that i will loose a great many friends.

My manager Dave though has already started writing references for all the staff and will put our names down if he hears anyone is looking for a barista.

Anyway i am now going to go drown my sorrows in a couple of games of scategories with my family, some loosing my self in the world of Harry Potter and watching Veronica Mars battle some crimial masterminds in Season 2 of Veronica Mars.

Nowadays

I have noticed that most of the cartoons on TV now a days are terrible, they either have no story line, no plot or crappy animation. Soon they will no longer be a form of entertainment, they will just be pointless crappy messages passed through the television to the children. With the loss of good cartoons, i will have to find a newer and better way of entertaining myself.

Holiday Goal

Ok so this holidays i have decided to read heaps of books beause i havn't had time during the school year, i have started this regiem off with the 'Harry Potter' series and i am up to book four and i am really loving it i am definatley a Harry Potter Fan.

And i can now definatley say that the Stephanie Meyer series 'Twilight' is not the new 'Harry Potter', there is no way it could be.

I will continue my reading until i have finished all seven Harry Potter books the move on to Jodi Picoult. I have already read 'Nineteen Minutes' and i loved it.

Although all these books are great and are now definatley amoug my favourites, i can never say that i love them more than anything written by Neil Gaiman or Garth Nix my two favourites Authors, and i have read everything written by both (that has come out yet).

SO i think the point of this blog was to say that i now Love Harry Potter.

2nd of December (like an update maybe)

We now have two christmas trees up in the house one for upstairs and one for down and many other seriously tacky and cute decorations adorning the walls and tables.
It was really fun, then my brother and sister and i played killer bunnies and i lost both games, was closer than usual but i still lost i was hoping for some crazy christmasy miracle that would make me win, but alas none came.
We have decided that we will move alone and purchase another booster deck for the killer bunnies game (there are like 10 more booster decks we need - we have one).
we are thinking of the green or orange if they have no purple one.
But it will make the game so much more fun, because new cards change the whole game play, everything changes. It is awesome.

1st Of December

It is the 1st of december and this is the day the christmas season offically starts. You put up your tree (if you arn't crazy and done it already) and the Elves come (Advent Calenders) And i love this day even though i am working during it all i am so happy and i just can't wait to get into some tree decorating and chocolate eating, i mean who dosn't love an excuse to eat a small delicious milk chocolate every morning? Well i do.

And to top it all off my mother came home last night but i couldn't go and meet her at the airport because of working and having to wake up at 5:30am to get ot work and that i have done that for the last 2 days. So i was not allowed to go. It was upsetting but i am over it.

At this very moment i have just gotten dressed and finished hugging my mother who for some reason woke up and hugged my in the kitchen, i now have approximatley 7mins till i have to leave, but i am so tired.

At work yesturday a really cute guy gave me his number, it made my day look alot brighter. and he made me a flower made out of paper, it was really cute.

Anyway i have nothing else to say and now all that is left is to go to work and possible die of lack of sleep and muscel pain.

Tired

I am really tired, ok so over three days i will have worked 20 hours with 1.5 hours worth of breaks.

This is really tiring and it sucks to because on Monday i am working 7am to 3pm and mum comes home the night before so i was hoping to spend some quality time with her even if it is just a little bit.

And then there is the fact that Monday is December 1st, and it is time to decorate the Fantastic Christmas Tree. This wouldn't be a problem if i didn't have to wait till like 4:30pm to do it. Decorating the tree is byfar one of my favourite things to do within a yearly interval.

And everyone just says well atleast you will have heaps of money, and i just frown and shake my head.

LAST DAY OF GRADE 11

Over it

I am just over the fact that i havn't seen my mum in like 6 weeks and i just want her home.

She will be her on Monday but i just want her to be here now, she was ment to be home two weeks ago but she had to stay and work later... She is an Archeologist... and i know she loves what she is doing but i just sometimes need her home and right now i could do with some mum love.

And to make it worse i havn't spoken to her in ages. I am used to being away from my family at long intervals of time but sometimes it just gets hard. I mean i see my dad like twice a year if i am lucky (he lives in china) and mum goes away for work all the time but yeah.

I just wish she was home...

Board Games

I was thinking about board games and it turns out i hadn't played a good board game in Monster Years (my borther and i made it up, it means a long time).

We were playing Monopoly which is all well and good in theory but in actual practice is shit boring most of the time.

We then played risk, awesome game don't get me wrong but when everytime you play you loose to an epic scale it kinda gets boring.

We also played stratego but i am not sure if that is classified as a board game but it was kinda boring when you havn't played in yonks and don't know the rules.

Then we played Life ad it was ok, the large quantaties of money seem a little unbelievable but oh well what can one do.

But we have been playing all these games because we have nothing better to do, and because we are ill and we can't stand to play any more Soul Calibur 2/ Halo/ Smash Brothers or Mario Cart. So i think the message of this blog is that you should not play bored games when you are bored because usually it dose not work.

Unsure

Ok so i have a problem i am thinking about next year and i am trying to decide whether or not i should sing in the arts festival i mean i think it would be fun, but i just don't know.
Ok so i understnad that it is strane for me to be talking about this now, but i couldn't get up the nerve to do arts festival this year and i kinda regretted it.
And then there is the problem of if i do enter the festival what would i sing, i mean i would have to know the words and the tune, but i would have to like the song, So after i read over my really long list i still have no idea what song i could choose and it has actually made it harder.
I also don't really know why i am asking you this but i think i just needed to ask someone, I am thinking song wise 'The call' by regina Spektor. which is like my all time favourite song, but i have no idea...
Will have to think about it heaps and heaps.

1984

ok so i am nearly finished the George Orwell book 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' and i will just tell you that i love it so much, i am quite happy because i ahvn't foud it a difficult read - which i was expecting. I am reading this book out of fun and not for school like so many people seem to ask since they just can't seem to understand that i love reading and i do it for fun not because i have to.

This also follows reading Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights' i did enjoy this book as well and that most peolple find truly strange, i loved the character Hareton, but i will say that i Hate the charcters Cathy (both of them) and half hate half love Heathcliff. I am totally on the fence when regarding that particualr character.

I just thought i would let you know, this very unimportant fact about me and tell you that i wish you would read them too because i personally think it is so worth it.

Happiness

Right now at this very moment like right now like not back in the day but right now i am quite happy. I think it is about it nearly being christmas and i LOVE Christmas soooooo much and not just because of the gifts but because of the atmosphere. My family not religious in any way but we have heaps of christmas traditions that we are now teaching to my new step dad.
My sister and i have even written a second childrens book that is based around the christmas time. I wont say too much about it because it is tre tre funny and i dont want so evil killer fake wombat santas to come and steal our idea, and normal people may steal it also but i think the wombats are more likley. Well this book is kinda a christmas present for our whole family and they dont get to see it until christmas.

Also i do think alot of this happiness is because my sister and i managed to con my loving parents into buying us an Xbox 360 for christmas, we didn't really care if we got one at the beginning when they first came out but now...Fable 2 is coming out...Fable 2 i couldn't believe it and i loved the first one but this one is going to be so so so so much better...i mean you have a dog and can have children!!! can you guys believe it? because i am having difficulty believing myself. Also Banjo and Kazooie 3 Nuts and Bolts is also coming out and that is tre tre exciting.

Well i think i will go because i have rambled for so long that i totally forgot that i boiled the kettle and now my water is cold and i will have to re-boil this said kettle and i don't want to have to do that a second time.

New Story...Update

I have written about three pages: Below is my first paragraph, i think if you read it you will understand what i mean about not knowing where it is going... Let me know what you guys think...

Life is a strange dream full of Hope and Illness, Love and Death, Kindness and pain, Famine and War. We float through life void of most emotions until something happens until; we are touched by light or faith, our choice or is it? Most people don’t have a reason most people don’t know why they are here and the people who do know don’t want to know. They don’t care enough or don’t know how to face the decisions to come. Where as some have it thrust upon them and these are the ones who often save our world, our separate, pitiful lives. These are the people who make a difference; who change the world. People believe that one day the world will end and we will all die our separate deaths, the world will end and we will sink in to emptiness. People believe this because they don’t give a shit about the people around them, the people they don’t know. But every day the world ends for someone, every day someone dies, some ones family is broken into shards of fragile glass. Every day the world is ending in a continuous stream of death and famine, fire and destruction, Pain and War. We can’t stop it any more than we could stop living, stop breathing, and stop thinking.

Boredy Bored!

I have started writing a story don’t really know what it is totally about, it is kind of just writing itself, I don’t know how long it will be or when it will finish itself but I can’t wait to see the final product. So far it seems to be kinda depressing and I am not sure why, maybe I am depressed but just haven’t realized yet. But how does one tell whether they are just slightly insane or depressed. Oh I don’t know I will just have to ponder it later on when I am not writing a blog or watching crappy daytime television.
Ah the joys of school holidays, and being left alone and abandoned in the house. I am contemplating writing more of my new story but I don’t think I can write now, Ah life is so hard! I am contemplating sketching something or walking somewhere to stretch my leggy legs; but once again I am unsure if I can be bothered. Ah Boredom every teenagers friend.
I wish my brother was here he would entertain me how dare he go out with friends and leave me here to suffer. I don’t even know when he is going to be back, he has been gone since Tuesday. Hmmm? Any way I am bored but I think we already know that…
I have been awake since 7:15 am and that is strange since I usually am not awake until 12 or later unless I have to be somewhere. My assistant manager called I didn’t even realize I had answered my phone, that is how intelligent I am when I am newly awakened. Usual I work well with little sleep, like now for example I had less than four hours sleep and I am as fit as a fiddle lazier than a fiddle but I am still fit as one. Ah ok I have gone insane… insaner, I need caffeine but I don’t even drink coffee or maybe I could go buy V or mother, hmmmm that would be good.
Well I have lost my train of thought and don’t know why I am writing this so I will leave, bid you farewell and talk once again, when I have caffeine pumping through my veins.

Signal To Noise

I have just finished reading this awesome comic that is called “Signal to Noise” and it was Awesome!
Just thought I would let you know because I thought it was awesome and I would tell you all about it. It wasn’t just a normal Graphic novel or Comic book were someone like Batman saves the world ect ect. It was about a This Film-maker who is dying of Cancer, but still decides to write his last film even though no one will ever see it. It sounds depressing and sad and well not going to lie to you it kinda is. I really liked it though I mean it was different and it was written by one of my favorite authors; Neil Gaimen. His film was about the year 999AD and how people thought it was going to be the end of the world, it was set in a small town and was just a view of the villagers supposed ‘Last Hours’.
It was kinda deep, the main point of the film was that everyday is the end of the world for someone, someone is always dying. It is a really sad message but it is so true. It was made up of chapters and at the begging of each chapter it would have a quote or a conversation. “Everything has a meaning, or nothing has.” “And I saw as it was a sea of Glass mingled with Fire” “You know you can set fire to the capacity to say”. These were just a few that caught my eye, but my favorite is “We are always living in the final days. What have you got? A hundred years or much, much less until the end of your world.”
I love the name he gives to his finished film ‘Apocatastases’. The Film-maker says “Only, I don’t believe in Apocalypses, I Believe in Apocatastases.” It means Restoration, re-establishment, renovation. I recon this is the best name for this film.
Ok so I don’t actually think I have anything else to say on this subject and I really do recommend reading ‘Signal to Noise’ if you are a fan of Graphic Novels or Neil Gaimen.

Batman Villains… I Guess They Are Ok…

I was thinking about Batman because I love comics and superheroes, and I am really not ashamed of that fact. But I was thinking about Batman and I have decided that the batman villains are pretty mediocre – All except two…
I have to say that the only good Batman Villains are The Joker and Riddler. Now I know that everyone knows who The Joker is but I ask you this who here knows the Riddler? Now if you don’t know either I will give you little bio’s for each:
The Riddler (Edward Nigma or Nygma) is obsessed with riddles, puzzles and word games. He delights in forewarning both Batman and the police of his capers by sending them complex clues. The character is often depicted as wearing a domino mask either with a green suit and bowler hat, or a green jumpsuit. His trademark is a green question mark.
The Joker is a super villain, The archenemy of the superhero Batman, the Joker is a master criminal whose characterization has varied from a violent sociopath who kills people and commits crimes for his own amusement, to a goofy and virtually harmless trickster-thief. The Joker's real identity is unknown, and there have been different takes on his origin; the most common variation depicts him as falling into a vat of chemical waste, which bleaches his skin and turns his hair green and his lips bright red, giving him the appearance of a clown. The playing card is often his calling card of choice.
Ok so now that we all know each other and each villain I will be able to move on, I love these two villains the most I think because they are different and not just ordinary everyday villains. I mean they are different because they aren’t just going around thieving shit all day with no real purpose or goal. I mean look at Joker for example he is a villain because he Loves being a villain not because he has to But because he Wants to, And Riddler he is a villain not just for revenge but because his whole life was taken away from him and he has no other choice. It is sad I will say that.
I really think I have said enough on this subject because I don’t have any more to write.

Entertainment Needed

Hey Sorry I haven’t written in a while, but I was kinda busy.

Ok so it is exam block and I am finding it increasingly difficult to find things to entertain myself with, but it was good on Wednesday last week I got to see my dad which is rare since he lives in China (I’m Australia) and we had dinner really fun! I got presents which was good but I would have to say seeing him was enough and I really wasn’t expecting anything. But I guess those are the best presents.

Anyway, back to the task yeah so I have nothing to do with myself and I have nearly read my fifth book and I have watched way too much television and way too many movies. So I don’t really know why I am writing this Blog because it doesn’t have a point.

Robots I See Where They Are Coming From…

I was thinking about how some people are being really technophobic and are scared of technology. Many people believe that Robots will one day attack humans and take over the world and I can see where they are coming from…the robots I mean.
If you think about every futuristic movie ever made has had the human race on top with Robots as our slaves that is not fair no matter what way you look at it. We create Robots to serve under us and do everything for us and in a lot of the movies we don’t even give them free thought and a will of their own, they just do whatever we want them to do.
But In every movie there is one Robot; one robot that has miraculously develop free thought and teaches all the other Robots to think for themselves. Which in its self doesn’t make sense because if all the robots are made the same then there is no way that one could be different.
When I think about all the crappy things we put robots through I feel so sorry for them and just plain crappy at what our race is doing. I think if that ever happened to my life I would choose the side of the Robots. And think about the robots would be so much cooler, I mean they are Robots, they would have the coolest weapons and attack plans.
But I really don’t think this is ever going to happen because we are all way too paranoid right now to ever create Robots that could function by themselves in this life time.

Batman...Who Can't Relate?

So today I was thinking about Batman way too much, and I have officially decided that he is the best superhero. Because I mean think about you can really relate to him; were all ordinary people, no super powers and we can’t fight crime (unless that’s your job) and Batman he is a crime fighting billionaire with no super powers, a bat costume and an underground lair. How can you not feel like you’re the same as Batman?
I was thinking about this instead of doing my maths and I have decided that if I ever got to choose to meet any super hero I would so choose Batman, it also helps that he is pretty attractive for a fictional ‘bat-man’.
I would have to say my next favorite superhero is Aquaman, I mean he controls water, has a mysticaly enchanted Left hand and talks to marine animals how much use is he any where away from water. I just feel sorry for him, but he does have some things going for him he is the King of Atlantis and he did found ‘The Justice League’ and that is pretty cool.
But then my thoughts moved on to if batman and Aquaman were in a fight who would win? And I decided that it would all have to do with the area or place of the battle. If they were anywhere near water Aquaman would win I mean he could just get a whole heap of sharks and shit to come and do the fighting for him, now I reckon some of you are saying well that is just a little lame getting marine animals to do the fighting for you, but think about it if you could control sharks you would get them to attack people too.
But if they were away from water Batman would so win. I mean he has all those really cool gadgets and Aquaman has nothing going for him unless someone was walking past with a tank of like lobsters, then he could always pinch batman down but that seems kinda unlikely.

We Must Be MAD - The Cold War (Last Update Ever)

Ok so I was really stressed out about this stupid fucking Modern History assignment and i stayed up really late trying to finish it off...and guess what? We had all of todays fucking lesson to finish it off, that is unfair they should have told me earlier...

I just dont know; and then we wasted most of our lesson waiting at the normal classroom unitl some one descided that it was a good idea to tell us where we are...but i guess thats what you have to expect when you have a nun as a teacher...
